The man whose body was discovered Wednesday in a wooded area near Winchester has been identified as 46-year-old Nathan Hale.
According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, hikers reported locating the body below the spillway of Winchester Lake at around 5:30pm.
The sheriff’s office, along with the Idaho State Police, have not found any evidence of fowl play and the cause of death is still under investigation.
