Lewiston native Tyler Charlo pitches 5 innings of shutout relief as the Lewis-Clark State baseball team completed a four-game NAIA West series sweep over Corban with a 1-0 win Monday at Harris Field.
Charlo allowed just two hits with a strikeout and a walk to improve to 2-0. A total of five Warrior pitchers combined in the shutout win. Gage Burland pitched the 9th to pick up his team-leading fourth save of the season.
Offensively, Tyler McDowell’s sixth inning single scored Kasey Bailey for the only run of the game.
LC extends its winning streak to 12 games and is now 24-5 overall and 14-1 in NAIA West play.
The 5th ranked Warriors are off this weekend and will resume play with a four-game NAIA West series at British Columbia April 6th through the 8th in Vancouver. (KOZE Sports)
