The City of Lewiston would like to remind residents about yard waste collection.
Beginning November 1st, customers can use plastic bags for leaves and yard waste so long as they do not exceed 35 lbs. For the months of November and December, yard waste will continue to be collected weekly. For the months of January and February, yard waste collection will run from the 1st of the month through the 7th of the month on your regular garbage collection day.
Christmas tree pick up will run February 1st through the 7th. Beginning March 1, 2022, weekly yard waste collection resumes. Plastic bags will not be accepted beginning March 31, 2022.
