Justin Mazzone, Riley Way and Coy Stout all homered as the 4th ranked Lewis-Clark State baseball team rolled to a 19-to-2 over Whitworth Sunday at Harris Field, completing a three-game sweep of the series.
The Warriors scored 17 of their runs with two outs. Mazzone and Way both hit three-run dingers, while Stout connected for a grand slam homer.
On the mound, Trent Sellers picked up his second win of the season, as the right-hander struck out 8 and walked just one in 5 innings.
LC is back home this weekend when they host a four-game series with Central Washington. A single game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday with a noon doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday morning at 11.
