One person was injured following a collision between an SUV and a loaded school bus near Cottonwood yesterday (Wed) afternoon.
The Idaho County Sheriff’s Department and the Idaho State Police are investigating the incident which happened around 3:25 p.m. when a gray Jeep Cherokee collided with a school bus full of children at the intersection of Cottonwood Butte and Greencreek roads east of U.S. Highway 95.
An unidentified passenger in the Jeep was injured and transported by ambulance to a hospital. None of the children on the bus were reportedly injured.
The collision remains under investigation and the sheriff’s office is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at (208) 983-1100.
