Former Lewis-Clark State standout Connor Brogdon was one of five Philadelphia pitchers to combine on the Phillies’ five-hit shutout of Houston last night in Game 3 of the World Series.
Brogdon was the first reliever behind starter Ranger Suarez. He pitched one inning, allowing no runs on a hit with one strikeout. He has yet to allow a run in his two series appearances.
Philadelphia beat the Astros 7-0 last night behind 5 homeruns by five different players.
The Phillies lead the series 2 games to 1.
