The Seattle Mariners have acquired slugger Teoscar Hernandez in a trade with the Toronto Blue Jays.

A two-time Silver Slugger winner, the 30-year-old Hernandez hit .267 with 25 homeruns and 77 rbi last season for Toronto. He was a 2021 American League All-Star.
Right-handed reliever Erik Swanson and left-handed pitching prospect Adam Macko went to the Blue Jays in the trade.
