An 18-year-old Lewiston man was arrested in Clearwater County Friday night in connection with an armed robbery that took place in the 400 block of First Avenue in Lewiston at about 8:15 a.m. Thursday morning.
Clearwater County Sheriff Chris Goetz says Forrest Riley was taken into custody at 10:15 p.m. at a residence in the 100 block of Elwood Loop. Riley has since been transported to the Nez Perce County Jail.
Meanwhile, the Lewiston Tribune reports, a 27-year-old Lewiston man also allegedly involved in the robbery made his first court appearance in Nez Perce County Second District Court on Friday. Erik Largent is charged with Felony Burglary and Robbery.
One other individual who hasn’t been identified remains at large.
According to an LPD press release, the three men allegedly entered the home wearing ski masks and threatened the two residents. One of the victims received a knife cut to the thumb during a scuffle. In addition to a piano keyboard, computer equipment was reportedly taken.
