GRANGEVILLE, ID – A 54-year-old woman was arrested today after Idaho County’s newly-graduated K9 alerted on a vehicle. Idaho County Sheriff’s Deputies were on routine patrol on Highway 13 when they stopped Melissa Thomas’ vehicle for a traffic violation.
K9 Millie, working her first week on patrol, performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted on the vehicle, a press release states.
Thomas was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor driving without privileges.
