CLARKSTON, WA – Clarkston High School hosted a robotics competition on Saturday.  It was the second competition of its kind to have been held in this region (the first was in November). In addition to a skills competition, there were tournament rounds involving 16 teams from across Washington State, including Redmond, Toppenish, Spokane, Wilson Creek, Ellensburg, Asotin, and Clarkston.

The competition game this year was called Spin Up; students competed in both programming of the robots as well as driver control.

“We had judges from SEL, LHS and members of our community.  We also had many students volunteer,” according to Kelli Williams, STEM Teacher/TSA Advisor at Clarkston High School.
