BOISE, ID – Idaho Governor Brad Little delivered his State of the State Address before assembled lawmakers and to the residents of the state today (Mon) in Boise.
Little talked about the many strides the state made a year ago, including tax cuts and record-breaking funding for Idaho education. But he says there is more he intends to do for the state’s public schools and those graduates needing workforce education.
Teacher pay is also a priority for the governor.
Little also seeks to improve public safety, including increasing the pay of the state’s law enforcement officers.
The governor is also seeking support on infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges. He also wants to lessen property taxes, increase funding for behavioral health and investing in agriculture and natural resources.
