KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The LC State Women’s Basketball team held its spot at No. 10 in the latest NAIA coaches poll. Thomas More (Ky.) stayed in the top spot with all 21 first-place votes.

The Warrior women are 6-0 since the last poll on Dec. 14 and have won 14 straight games. The only blemish on the LC State record is a season-opening loss to then-No. 2 Westmont (Calif.). The biggest win since the last vote was a 71-69 victory over then-No. 20 Eastern Oregon in Lewiston.

LC State currently sits at a record of 14-1 overall and 9-0 in Cascade Conference play. The Warriors are the lone undefeated team in CCC action and sit atop the standings heading into a tough conference weekend with Oregon Tech and No. 23 Southern Oregon in town.

The Warriors lead the conference in field goal percentage defense (.317), rebounding (45.3), blocked shots (70), blocked shots per game (4.7), turnover margin (6.0) and assist/turnover ratio (1.2). LC is second in the NAIA in field goal percentage defense and seventh in blocks per game. Sara Muehlhausen leads the CCC in blocks (28) and Adyson Clabby leads in assist/turnover ratio (4.6). Muehlhausen is sixth in the NAIA in blocks per game (2.5) and fifth in total blocks.

EOU jumped four spots to No. 16 and Southern Oregon stayed locked in at No. 23.
