LEWISTON, ID – Courageous Survival is providing four days of free Mental Health, Resiliency, & Suicide Intervention training in the region next month. Officials say you must register to attend the events which include one day in Grangeville on March 15th and three days in the Lewis-Clark Valley on March 16-18.
“This multiple day training focuses on QPR (Question.Persuade.Refer) and ASSIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) style intervention techniques for suicide. Additional training will be provided on Resiliency, Resources and Peer Support,” a press release says. “This training is HIGHLY recommended for first responders, veteran organizations, community members that work with the general public, or anyone who wants more Push Bins knowledge on how to help others.”

All trainings are accredited through Idaho POST; CEU credits are available. Certificates provided for Fire/EMS to self-submit for CEUs.
