LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston Firefighters IAFF Local 1773 invites the public to meet the City of Lewiston Fire Chief finalists at a special Meet and Greet event on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Lewiston City Library 2nd floor event space. It will provide an opportunity for members of the community to get to know the candidates who are being considered for the role of Fire Chief.
Travis Myklebust is retiring on May 31st after more than eight years in the position. He has been with the Lewiston Fire Department for 31 years.
Attendees will be able to ask questions, share their thoughts, and learn more about the candidates’ experience and vision for the Lewiston Fire Department.
The event will be an informal gathering, and light refreshments will be provided. The Lewiston Firefighters welcome all members of the public to attend and participate in this process.
