Narcotics Search Warrant in Clarkston Yields 1,400 Fentanyl Pills; Clarkston Man Arrested

CLARKSTON, WA – Approximately 1,400 Fentanyl pills were discovered during a narcotics-related search warrant in Clarkston Wednesday afternoon. According to Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers, detectives from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force along with the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force, Clarkston Police Department, and Lewiston Police Department executed the warrant on a vehicle as it stopped at a residence in the 800 block of 3rd Street.

“During the execution of the warrant, detectives located and seized approximately 1400 Fentanyl pills weighing approximately 146.97 grams,” a press release says.

As a result, detectives booked 37-year-old Brandon J. Mason of Clarkston into the Asotin County Jail on the felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Fentanyl). Bond was set at $75,000.

The Quad Cities Drug Task Force is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance to combat narcotics distribution in Southeastern Washington and Western Idaho Counties.
