The Lewis-Clark State Men’s Track and Field remained in the top 25 of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Outdoor Track and Field Rating Index this week at No. 15. LC State totaled 127.23 points in the latest edition of the index.
Christian Bothwell’s decathlon continued to be the largest point-getter for the Warriors at 27.13. His score of 6,322 points ranks fourth in the NAIA. The 4x800m team of Cooper Carlson, Carter Gordon, Conner May and Kobe Wessels earned 26.92 points and are ranked fourth in the NAIA with a time of 7:53.34.
Decathlete Justin Krabbenhoft is ranked seventh in the NAIA in the event (5,701) and earned 19.42 points in the index. Ike Hopper brought in 15.33 with his provisional-standard time of 53.90 in the 400m hurdles, and London Kirk’s 400m (47.97) earned 15.03 points. Both Hopper and Kirk rank ninth in the NAIA in their events.

The Warrior will compete at two different meets this weekend. LC will return to Spokane for the Whitworth Twilight on Thursday before heading to Nampa for the Northwest Nazarene Invitational on Saturday.
