The Warrior Athletic Association will welcome five individuals and three teams into its Hall of Fame Saturday at the Clearwater River Casino and Lodge Event Center just east of Lewiston.
The individuals include: Chelsea Leighton-Church for Track and Field; Caelyn Orlandi for Women’s Basketball; Rusty Harris for Baseball; and former women’s basketball coach Mike Divilbiss and former men’s basketball coach George Pfeifer. Three national champion Baseball teams will also be enshrined – including the 1989, 1996, and 1999 teams.
A no-host social will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., with dinner and the induction ceremony beginning at 6. Adult tickets for the event are $60 each and $20 each for children. Tickets can be purchased online through the LC State athletics webpage: lcwarriors.com and click the WAA logo.
Additionally, the public is welcome to attend the Hall of Fame Unveiling Friday in the P1FCU Activity Center’s West Mezzanine on the LC State campus. A no-host social begins at 5 p.m. with the unveiling at 6 p.m. There is no cost to attend the unveiling event.
