On Tuesday, an inmate in Ohio named Jason Conrad somehow escaped from custody while he was being transported to a doctor’s appointment.
But he was captured the next day thanks to a tip from a McDonald’s employee.
Jason rode up to the McDonald’s on a bike, and asked for something off the “dollar menu.” The employee told him that they haven’t had the dollar menu for YEARS . . . and so the guy took off.

The employee said that the guy seemed “out of touch,” and that’s when he remembered hearing about the escaped inmate, and contacted police. They were able to catch up with Jason soon afterward.
The guy wasn’t a HUGE threat . . . he’s mostly a drug trafficker . . . and as amusing as it is to think of him being behind bars for 20 years and just now getting out, he was actually just arrested in April. Apparently, he hadn’t been to a McDonald’s in a while . . . OR only had a buck.
