Mariners Roll Past Yankees, Avoid Sweep

Teoscar Hernandez had three hits, including a homerun and drove in two and the Seattle Mariners rolled to a 10-2 win over the Yankees last (Thur) night in New York.

Three other Mariners also hit homeruns as Seattle avoided a three-game sweep.

On the mound, Bryan Woo picked up his first win of the season. The righthander didn’t allow a run on just two hits with 5 strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings.

The Mariners close out their current six-game road trip with a three-game weekend series beginning tonight (Fri) in Baltimore with the Orioles.
