LAPWAI, ID – Lapwai Volunteer Fire Department crews were dispatched to a fire shortly after wrapping up training today.
Fire Chief William Skiles says crews responded at around 8:00 p.m. to a residence in the 100 block of Birch Avenue East where a tree was ignited by a smoker. There were no injuries reported.
