The Midnight Fire burning near the Elk City Wagon Road in Idaho County is now listed at 25 percent contained.
According to the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest, heavy firefighting traffic is still expected to continue through the week on Forest Service Roads 244, 284, and 1852 as resources continue to contribute to the suppression effort.
Heavy equipment is being utilized to construct contingency line on Forest Service Roads 1853 and 1855, and in the Peasley Creek drainage area of Forest Service Roads 469 to 648.
A fire camp is still established near McComas Meadows.
A total of 192 personnel are being assisted by 3 engines, two dozers and a helicopter.
