CLARKSTON, WA – After months of anticipation, TriState Health officially welcomed its first patients into the new 54,000-square-foot Inpatient Wing. The first patient admitted to the Intensive Care Unit was on Tuesday and the first patient admitted to the Med/Surgical Unit was on Wednesday.
The new wing houses Intensive Care Unit patients, Med/Surg. patients, along with registration for Lab and Surgery, a Gift Shop, and Bistro. Facility hours for visitors are 7:00am-7:00pm, Monday through Sunday.
“Earlier this week, TriState Health welcomed the first ICU patient, Norman, in the state-of-the-art building. Norman’s family once owned the land that part of the TriState Campus sits on today,” a press release says. “Additionally, Samantha kindly shared her arrival into the Med/Surg unit, with TriState’s staff, who were honored to share in each of these monumental occasions.”
“I’m incredibly proud of the hard work that went into opening this new wing. It takes a strong, cohesive team to configure such a large undertaking,” according to Kym Clift, CEO at TriState Health. “From the dedicated TriState staff to partners, each party has poured their all into this project. We are honored to be able to continue providing high quality, innovative care, to our community and those we serve, and now in our new wing. Thank you all for your support and generosity.”
“TriState would like to thank the generous donors, community members, employees, and partners, who helped make this new facility possible. TriState is proud to have this new facility to continue providing excellent and high-quality care to the Lewis-Clark Valley community and those they serve,” TSH says.
