Firefighters from the Lewis-Clark Valley raised more than $15,000 during last weekend’s Fill The Boot Campaign conducted on behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
According to a press release, this year’s efforts resulted in a total of $15,347.10 being raised to support individuals and families affected by neuromuscular diseases in the area.
Funds collected during the fundraiser will aid the MDA in its mission to provide vital resources, research, and assistance to individuals living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases. Every dollar raised brings the MDA closer to developing breakthrough therapies, providing support to affected families, and ultimately, working towards a world free from the challenges of these debilitating conditions.
