Washington State safety Jaden Hicks was named the Bednarik Award Defensive Player of the Week.
In the Cougars’ upset win over Wisconsin last Saturday, Hicks collected nine tackles, seven solo, a tackle for loss, forced a fumble and broke up two passes. He helped the defense hold the Badgers to 90 rushing yards.

The 23rd ranked Cougars are back home this Saturday when they host Northern Colorado. Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. at Martin Stadium in Pullman.
