CLARKSTON, WA – A 39-year-old man was arrested recently after he allegedly took a bicycle from a home in the 1300 block of 5th Street in Clarkston. Police Chief Joel Hastings says Cory Lee Horton was arrested at around 7:18 a.m. last Friday on an outstanding felony warrant for Second-Degree Burglary and Second-Degree Theft. He was also charged with Second-Degree Criminal Trespass, Second-Degree Theft, and Possession of Burglary Tools in connection with the recent incident.
“A homeowner near 5th and Highland Ave reported the theft of a bicycle and trespass. An Asotin County Deputy was in the area at the time and located the suspect, Horton. Officers arrested Horton on an outstanding felony warrant and upon completing the investigation he was charged with the above listed crimes,” Hastings says.
