The University of Idaho women’s basketball team opened the season with a runaway 92-50 win over Walla Walla University last (Mon) night in Moscow.
Kennedy Johnson led the Vandals with 18 points and 5 rebounds, and former Clarkston High star Ashlyn Wallace added 12 points and a game-high 5 steals in the win.
Defensively, Idaho forced 23 turnovers in the blowout.
The Vandal women are back in action tomorrow (Wed) night when they host Cal Poly at the ICCU Arena at 6 p.m.
