Potlatch School District Teacher Receives Idaho Education Technology Grant Award

Potlatch School District #285 is pleased to announce that 3rd Grade Teacher, Brianna Burkgart has received an Idaho Education Technology Association (IETA) grant award in the amount of $1649.00.  The award will be used to purchase a new interactive whiteboard for Mrs. Burkgart’s 3rd grade classroom.

The IETA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance student learning through promoting and supporting the use of technology in Idaho classrooms. Mrs. Burkgart was presented with the award at this year’s IETA Conference that took place February 7-9, 2024 at the Boise Center in Boise, ID.

In a press release the Potlatch School District expressed thanks for the funding from IETA and what it will mean for both Mrs. Burkgart and her students – adding that bringing this technology in the classroom provides new avenues of instruction and increased engagement.
