A Montana woman was taken into custody following a traffic stop along U.S. Highway 12 Sunday night.
According to a news release from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was on routine patrol between Kamiah and Kooskia near mile marker 72, when a stop was made for a traffic violation.
While stopped, a drug-sniffing dog alerted on the vehicle. Methamphetamine was found following a search of the vehicle.
32-year-old Sasha Soderstrom of Anaconda, Montana was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
