School leaders from across the state will once again have the opportunity to hear updates from Superintendent Debbie Critchfield and Idaho Department of Education staff regarding changes made to statewide education policies during the Idaho Legislature’s 2024 session.
“I’m happy that the department and I will once again have the chance to offer superintendents, business managers and other key school personnel a thorough overview of what’s new in Idaho law and how it will affect their educational communities,” Critchfield said. “Traveling the state to visit with district and charter leaders is always a valuable experience for me and my team, and we’re eager to cover the changes made this legislative session and dig into the details of how that will play out in their schools and communities.”
The six events will kick off in Idaho Falls on April 8 and will conclude with an April 19 session in Boise. Each session is scheduled to begin registration at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Superintendent Critchfield will deliver opening remarks at each session at 9:30 a.m.
