Carter Booth had three hits, including a grand-slam homerun in leading the Lewis-Clark State baseball team to a 15-3 win over the College of Idaho Sunday at Harris Field.
Pu’ukani De Sa added 3 hits and 4 runs-batted-in, and Jack Sheward had two doubles and drove in three as the Warriors completed a four-game sweep.
On the mound, Hiroyuki Yamada upped his record to 3-1 on the year – allowing one run on four hits with 7 strikeouts in 5 innings.
The Warriors improve to 23-9 overall and 13-3 in Cascade Conference play.
Up next, 8th ranked LC hosts 2nd ranked Lousiana State-Shreveport in a four-game series this weekend at Harris Field. Game one is Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a doubleheader Saturday at noon, and a single game Sunday morning at 11.
