Idaho State Board of Education to Meet in Moscow This Week

The Idaho State Board of Education will hold a regular Board meeting on Wednesday and Thursday, April 17-18, 2024, at the Bruce M. Pitman Center on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow.

Agenda items include:

  • Consider tuition and fee increase requests from each of Idaho’s four-year public institutions.
  • Discuss minimum instructional day requirements for Idaho’s public K-12 public schools. Action will not be taken.
  • Consider a University of Idaho request to begin design and construction of an addition to the Huckabay WWAMI Medical Education building.

Because the meeting will be conducted in Moscow, the Board will be sitting as the Board of Regents for the University of Idaho and time will be allotted for students, staff and faculty to address the Regents. U of I President C. Scott Green will also present the institution’s annual report.

The meeting will conclude with the election of the Board’s executive officers.
