Crews are working to clear debris resulting from two separate incidents that closed portions of Idaho State Highway 64 and State Highway 162 near Kamiah Sunday night.
While State Highway 64 remains closed until further notice, one lane is now open along State Highway 162. The Idaho Transportation Department is shuttling motorists through the affected area until both lanes re-open.
There is still no timetable for the repairs on either highway to be complete. In the meantime, motorists traveling between the Camas Prairie and Kamiah are advised to use alternative routes to avoid the affected areas.
