A Washington man was injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday (Wed) in Clearwater County.
According to a news release from the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, yesterday (Wed) afternoon at approximately 4:55 PM, deputies, Orofino Ambulance, Rescue Three, and LifeFlight responded to a motorcycle accident.
According to the sheriff’s office, the rider, identified as 78-year-old Jerry Jones of Renton, Washington, was riding his 2010 Honda Motorcycle on Cavendish Highway near milepost 14. As Jones was navigating the curve, he struck a deer and was ejected.
Jones, who was wearing protective gear and a helmet, was flown to an out-of-area hospital for injuries he sustained in the crash.
