Cal Raleigh’s 9th inning solo homerun was the difference as the Seattle Mariners rallied for a 5-4 series-clinching win over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park yesterday (Sun).
Josh Rojas had three hits and an RBI and Luke Raley delivered a hit, an RBI and scored two runs for the Mariners.
On the mound, Andres Munoz picked up his second win of the year in relief as the righthander pitched a scoreless inning-and-a-third with one strikeout.
Seattle opens a four-game series in Minnesota this (Mon) afternoon against the Twins. The first pitch is set for 4:40 p.m. with live coverage in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER.
