GRANGEVILLE, ID – A 52-year-old Kamiah man was arrested yesterday on a felony warrant out of Clearwater County. According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, the warrant was served on Larry Hendren in Grangeville at around 11:00 a.m.
Hendren has been charged with two counts of felony Sexual Battery of a Minor Child Sixteen or Seventeen Years of Age.
“The crimes were discovered by Idaho County Detectives during an Idaho County investigation, which began in April, and the information was sent to Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation,” a press release says.

On May 14, 2024, at approximately 1:00 PM, Idaho County deputies responded to a report of an abandoned U-Haul truck and car on Highway 13 near milepost 11. It was reported the vehicles had been there for three days, there were puppies inside the U-Haul, and no one had seen anyone around the vehicles.
When deputies arrived, they found a male subject working on the vehicle and another male standing behind the U-Haul. The deputy observed a white puppy inside the cab of the U-Haul, and a glass bong in plain view on the center console. The male who had been working on the vehicle got inside the cab, grabbed the bong, and threw it towards the river. He was then arrested.
The other male advised he had an Idaho County warrant and had rented the U-Haul to come back here and take care of the matter. He was then arrested.
Cody Fleury, age 37, of Kamiah, Idaho was arrested for felony destruction of evidence, felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and misdemeanor resisting and obstructing an officer. Philip Nester, age 40, homeless, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, two counts of misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and a misdemeanor Idaho County warrant.

On May 14, 2024, at approximately 8:45 PM, Idaho County deputies were investigating a report of individuals trespassing on a property in Kooskia, Idaho.
Several deputies were standing outside talking to a group of people, when a female got out of her vehicle with an object in her hand and walked quickly towards one of the patrol vehicles. She was told to stay away from the vehicle, which she ignored, and then opened the door to the patrol vehicle. Deputies moved towards the patrol vehicle, where she then both kick and struck a deputy with her cane and was then arrested.
Clara Fivecoat, age 65, of Kamiah, Idaho was arrested for felony battery on an officer, misdemeanor unlawful entry, and misdemeanor resisting and obstructing.
