The City of Lewiston’s Public Works Department is excited to see you at the Public Works Expo on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds.
The Public Works Expo is a day in observance of National Public Works Week (NPWW) which intends to increase awareness of the responsibilities of Public Works and provide an opportunity for everyone to experience various fun activities related to what Public Works is all about.
Expo activities planned include: “River to River” Water – The Cycle of Use; Geographic Information Systems; A Stormwater Demonstration; a Wastewater Jet Cleaning Demonstration; and information on why it’s important to not remove traffic signs.
While the Expo’s activities are geared towards kindergarten through third-grade students, all are welcome. Large groups are encouraged to RSVP with their estimated group size and when they plan to arrive. For more information or to RSVP call 208 790-8803 or email publicworks@cityoflewiston.org.
