AARP Idaho is inviting Idahoans to join Idaho U.S. Senator Mike Crapo for a statewide telephone town meeting today (Tue) from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15pm Pacific Time. The conversation with Senator Crapo and AARP Idaho state director Lupe Wissel will focus on the national debt, budget, Medicare, Social Security, environmental concerns, and other issues important to Idahoans and their families.
Participants can join by dialing toll-free 866-767-0637 or by listening to the live stream on the AARP Idaho Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AARPIdaho. The event is open to everyone, not just AARP members.
It’s an interactive forum, and participants will have a unique opportunity to call and speak directly with Senator Crapo. Questions may also be submitted ahead of time via email at aarpid@aarp.org.
With a membership of 187,000 Idahoans, AARP is the largest organization in the state and regularly hosts thousands of participants during statewide telephone town hall forums.
