Lewis-Clark State righthander Drake George has been selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 13th Round of the Major League Baseball Draft.
George, a junior from Riddle, Oregon, went 6-2 last season with a 4.91 ERA. He recorded 74 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched.
George is the first Warrior to be drafted since Gage Burland was selected in the 22nd round by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2018 draft.
