Starting today (Mon) Forest Service Road 470, also known as the Swiftwater Road, will be closed for road construction for approximately two and half months.
The Swiftwater Road closure is approximately 7 miles long and will be closed between the Selway road and the intersection of Forest Service Road 470 and Forest Service Road 653.
Forest officials advise visitors to use alternate routes until work is complete.
