A Lewiston man is facing charges related to the alleged rape of a child.
According to a news release from the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office, Lewiston Police Department Detectives arrested 24-year-old Dakota Hall for Lewd Conduct with a Child under Sixteen Years of Age Tuesday evening. According to the release, detectives were called to a residence in Lewiston after a family member of the 6 year old walked in Hall allegedly having sex with the child.
Hall was booked into the Nez Perce County Jail on the single felony charge that carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison. Bond was set at $1 million.
