Approximately 180 Avista electric customers in east Moscow in the area around 6th Street and East 3rd Street will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
The planned outage is expected to start at 8 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. and impacted customers will be notified. No road closures are expected during the outage time.
During the outage, Avista crews will be replacing pad-mounted transformers as part of efforts aimed at updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
