Washington High Schools Open Football Seasons this Weekend

As the Idaho high school football season continues this weekend, Washington schools open their seasons.

In the LC Valley: Clarkston opens its season at home Friday night when the Bantams host unbeaten Moscow at Adams Field. Asotin opens the year at home Saturday against Tri-Cities Prep.

Lapwai hosts Logos; Prairie plays a non-conference game in Fruitland with Valley; Clearwater Valley is at home to face Glenns Ferry; Deary travels to Potlatch; Kamiah hosts Council; Genesee is at Troy; Timberline buses to Riggins to square-off against Salmon River; Lewis County faces Tri-Valley in Craigmont; and Kendrick will face traditional power Oakley Saturday in Homedale. Grangeville is at home Friday to play Priest River; and Orofino is back home for a non-conference game against Payette with live coverage in the upper Clearwater Valley on AM 1300 KLER. Colfax opens its season on the road at Lake Roosevelt; Pomeroy is home to face LaConner; and Garfield Palouse opens the year at home against Liberty Christian.
