Mariners Top A’s to Garner Split of Four Game Series

Cal Raleigh homered and drove in 3 runs and Luke Raley added 3 hits and also went deep as the Seattle Mariners beat the Athletics 6-4 yesterday (Thur) in Oakland.

Bryan Woo improved to 7-2 on the year. The M’s righthander allowed 2 runs on 8 hits with 6 strikeouts and no walks over a 5 inning start.

Former Lewis-Clark State slugger Seth Brown had two hits and a run-batted-in for the A’s in the loss.

The Mariners open a 3-game weekend series tonight in St. Louis against the Cardinals. The first pitch is set for 5:15 p.m. from Busch Stadium with live coverage in the LC Valley on 95.5 FM and AM 950 KOZE and in the upper Clearwater Valley on KLER FM 103.3.
