The Idaho Supreme Court has ruled that next summer’s quadruple murder trial of Bryan Kohberger will be held in Ada County.
Ealier this week, Latah County 2nd District Judge John Judge agreed with defense attorneys that an unbiased jury would be difficult to seat, while also citing the county’s lack of security and staff to accommodate a trial of this magnitude.
According to the Idaho High Court’s ruling, Kohberger is also to be transferred and remain in custody of the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
Kohberger is accused of stabbing to death four University of Idaho students in an off-campus house in November of 2022. He faces the death penalty if convicted.
