
Bryce Miller and the Seattle bullpen were dominant in leading the Mariners past the Houston Astros 6-1 last (Mon) night at Minute Maid Park.
Julio Rodriguez had 3 hits and drove in two runs for Seattle and Cal Raleigh and Randy Arozarena both had two hits and a run-batted-in.
Miller improved to 12-8 on the year. The M’s righthander didn’t allow any runs on just 2 hits with 5 strikeouts over a 7 inning start.
Seattle is now 4 games behind the Astros in the American League West Division, and trail Detroit by a game-and-a-half in the American League Wild Card race with 5 games remaining in the regular season.
