More than 725 Clearwater Power members in the Weippe and surrounding areas will experience a power outage starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. Members impacted by the outage have been notified directly.
The outage is part of a larger outage required by Avista to perform infrastructure upgrades. During this time, aging power poles and equipment in the area will be replaced to increase the safety and reliability of the system.
