Mariners Close Out Season with Sweep of A’s

Cal Raleigh had two hits, including a homerun, and drove in two runs and Justin Turner added a double and two more runs-batted-in as the Seattle Mariners completed a three-game sweep over Oakland with a 6-4 season-ending win yesterday (Sun) at T-Mobile Park.

On the mound, Logan Gilbert got the win. The Seattle righthander didn’t allow any runs on just one hit with 7 strikeouts over a 5 2/3 inning start.

Former Lewis-Clark State star Seth Brown had two hits, including a double and scored twice for Oakland in the loss.

The Mariners end the season with an 85-77 record.
