In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, TriState Women’s Imaging will hold a Community Open House on Wednesday, October 23, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, located at 1221 Highland Avenue, in Clarkston. Look for the signs and balloons.

vendors will be in attendance to answer questions about services. They include:

Guests will have the opportunity to view the new mammography unit, ask questions about breast health to skilled imaging professionals, schedule their annual mammogram, enjoy treats, ask questions, and mingle. The imaging team will be on site and ready to set up appointments during the open house. To be eligible for self-referral, women must meet the following criteria:
• Be a female, age 40 or older
• It’s been at least one year (365 days) since your last screening
• Not pregnant or breastfeeding
Earlier this summer, TriState Imaging replaced its mammography equipment with a new unit. This new 3D mammography unit, a Hologic 3D Mammography System with Genius AI, has with curved paddles, adding to the comfort of the patient experience. 3D mammography is the most advanced technology available for the detection of breast cancer.
