Vandal and Cougar Men’s Basketball Teams Open Seasons Tonight

The University of Idaho men’s basketball team opens the regular season tonight with a home game against Northwest University.

The Vandals are coming off a season that saw them finish with an 11-21 record. The NAIA Eagles from Kirkland, Washington went 8-21 last year while competing in the Cascade Conference.

Tonight’s tip-off is set for 6 p.m. inside the ICCU Arena in Moscow.

Meanwhile, the Washington State University men’s basketball team opens it’s season at home tonight against Portland State.

The Cougars are coming off a 25-10 season and a berth into the NCAA National Tournament. The Big Sky Conference Vikings went 17-15 last season.

Tonight’s tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. from Friel Court inside the Beasley Coliseum in Pullman.
