Nate Calmese led the way with 18 points and LeJuan Watts scored 16 in leading the Washington State University men’s basketball team to a 90-67 win over the University of Idaho in the 279th edition of the Battle of the Border game last (Mon) night in Pullman.
Isaiah Brickner led the Vandals with 13 points and Julius Mims added 11 in the loss.
The Cougars improved to 3-0, while Idaho fell to 1-2.
Up next, Wazzu will travel to Illinois for a neutral site game against Iowa Friday, while the Vandals will be on the road Saturday at Brigham Young University in Provo.
